Rob Knecht is a artist and designer living in Chicago, Illinois. Utilizing backgrounds in technology, graphic, and industrial design, he creates experimental objects and installations. In addition to his artistic practice he has worked with a variety of professional clients providing a range of services from art direction, web development, and production.

M46 is a collection of work derived from artistic and professional practice. The name stems from a section of freeway that bisects the state of Michigan.

The site is composed from a mix of CodeIgniter, ExpressionEngine, JQuery, and custom PHP.
